Much similar to my comment on std::thread::native_handle(), the page doesn't describe specifics, for example, for comparing non-joinable with joinable: since non-joinable is essentially not representing a thread, is there indication on how it should compare with id of that which does represent a thread?

We don't describe specifics because the standard doesn't describe specifics. An id that does not represent a thread compares unequal to one that does, but the ordering is not specified. T. Canens (talk) 13:37, 20 June 2018 (PDT)
